This lovely little Mini is in great order and is ready for everyday use. It’s had a great deal of work carried out during its life and has been used regularly and never stood for long periods.

Bodily, the car is practically flawless. All the seams, door bottoms etc are very solid and all the panel gaps are great. It’s MOT’d until next May, and I some history, including MOTs from the past few years. Being a 1995 example, it’s a 1.3i SPi (fuel injection) car. This makes it much more usable as a regular car, and is also much longer geared than the earlier cars, which makes cruising on dual carriageways and motorways more comfortable (for a Mini!). The engine runs very well indeed, does not overheat and pulls very well indeed. The brakes and suspension are also in great order and the car rides very well indeed. The mileage reading is 76,000 but this doesn't really mean a lot due to the amount of work the car has had.

The car remains in excellent order. The restoration obviously included a great deal of work, and you can see this in the quality of the bodywork finish and the underside. There are no nasty patches of welding anywhere and you’ll have nothing to worry about for the next MOT, I don’t think! The subframes are both in good order, as are the mounting points on the bodywork, and the sills and floors etc are all solid too.

The car has been painted professionally and looks great. Although this obviously isn’t the same standard of finish as a new Jaguar, etc, you can see for yourself that it’s very good indeed. It sits on deep-dish Minilite style wheels and has the wider arches fitted. The bonnet has been de-lipped to give it the early Mini look, and a Mk1 moustache and Cooper grille have been fitted. The rest of the chromework is in excellent order.

The interior is very clean and tidy indeed – the seats and headlining are in great order, as are the carpets. The previous owner was a bit of a ‘Mod’ and the dashboard has been customised! However, it would be very easy to return it to original spec – they’re just stickers!

All in all, this is a really clean and tidy car, and is priced very reasonably for a quick sale. If you come and have a look, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
