1994 Rover Mini Cooper SPi 1.3i

£££ SOLD £££

This lovely little Cooper is in great order and is ready for everyday use. It’s done around 3,000 miles per year for the last couple of years, and was subject to a big restoration before this. The mileage is supported by old MOTs and the original service book which has been stamped up to around 35,000 miles. This shows that the car was supplied new, as a genuine Cooper, with the very rare interior that you can see fitted today.

The car remains in excellent order. The restoration obviously included a great deal of work, and you can see this in the quality of the paint finish and the underside. The car has been painted professionally and looks great. It sits on deep-dish Superlitewheels and has the wider arches fitted. There is just the very beginnings of some blistering under the headlights – but you can see that all the seams elsewhere are in fantastic condition – it’s not just had a quick blowover paint-job, and the area under the headlights can be sorted very cheaply and easily.

The car starts and runs very healthily and drives very nicely indeed. It’s still got its original 1275cc Cooper-spec engine and this fires up straight away and ticks over very smoothly. It's MOT'd until the end of November, and I have no doubts that the car would get through another MOT without any problems. It appears to be very structurally sound, and all of the electrics etc work.

The interior is very clean and tidy, with full leather interior (very rare in this style!) and the 3-clock dash. The carpets look to have been replaced and the door cards and handles etc are all in good order.

All in all, this is a VERY clean and tidy car, and is priced very reasonably for a quick sale. If you come and have a look, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
