1989 Austin Mini - Mr. Bean Replica

This fantastic little 1989 Mini Racing Flame has been professionally resprayed to replicate the car used by Rowan Atkinson in his world-famous ‘Mr. Bean’ series. Sadly Teddy isn’t included in the auction, nor is there a sofa strapped to the roof!

 

It’s the ideal car to make an impression and cause a stir! Perhaps if you run a business, or you could use it for prom and wedding hire. It certainly attracts a great deal of attention, with people posing and taking photos all the time. 

 

Anyway, down to detail. The car is a 998cc manual car, making insurance very affordable. It’s MOTd until the 4th of July. I can’t see the car having any issues at the next test. The car starts, runs and drives great. Tyres are matching all round, and have good tread. The car has covered 66,000 miles from new.

 

The interior is very clean and tidy indeed, and is fitted with a CD player with iPod input. The car has been painted professionally and the finish is nice, with only very minor signs of bubbling and blistering here and there. The A-panels, door bottoms and other such areas are all nice and solid. There isn't any rust below the front headlights, this is just chipped paint and I will do my best to touch that up before the buyer takes the car away.

Structurally the car appears to be fine, with the correct vented sills fitted. Both subframes and subframe mounting points are nice and solid.
